Pop Cares X NRTC Fresh

We collaborated with NRTC Fresh to launch POP Cares which was a CSR campaign created to give back to low-income families who may have been affected during COVID-19. The campaign involved giving away 30 NRTC Fresh boxes of fruits and vegetables to the first 30 entries nominated by the public.

Results

Though we initially planned to give 30 families, we ended up giving away 50 boxes to 50 families.

POP Cares takes on the #DoGoodChallenge

Our client, the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, challenged us to take part in their #DoGoodChallenge in June 2019.

POP Communications selected a small animal rescue center to support as our challenge. We partnered with 38smiles, a local animal rescue center based in Dubai. 38smiles takes in abandoned animals, treats them and helps re-home them via their fostering and adoption community. As 38smiles is a charity they rely on the support and donations of the community. We asked them what areas of support they currently needed help with and as it was summer the number of abandoned animals had drastically increased and they were running low on food to feed the animals.

We ran a food drive, asking our community of bloggers, influencers, media and friends to donate bags of food for both cats and dogs throughout June. A lot of our friends visited our office to deliver food for the animals. We collected over 100 food items in over 2 weeks and delivered it to 38smiles to feed their rescued animals.

Results

In 2 weeks collected over 100 food items which resulted in the shelter being able to feed their current rescue animals for two months.
